Freedom from Fear stories was founded in New York,1983.
Since history is already written the company facilitate narratives improving herstories, all relevant
to our everyday struggle maintaining a democratic and fellow human society. It ‘s all about survival,
what background we come from, and what assumptions we hold, both physically and mentally.

In 1998 Malte Forssell and Mona J. Hoel took the company’s name Freedom from fear stories  
back into use in Norway producing the award-winning certified dogma film nr. 19 “Cabin fever/Når nettene blir lange”
Screenwriter, director and producer Mona Johanne Hoel is the owner and general manager of the company.
